It is the Nursing Profession that defines the scope of practice.  We invite you to participate in discussions and actions that are based on nursing’s contract with society to provided competent patient care. 3rd District Nurses Nursing Issues Committee meets four times a year and is dedicated to discussing and impacting issues that affect everyday practice of it’s members.

Public Policy and Legislative Issues

3rd District Nurses invites you to participate in the Public Affairs Committee if you are interested in affecting public policy and working on legislative issues.  This committee meets four times a year in the evening.  See the Calendar of Events for the next scheduled meeting email 3rd District for more information. All members are welcome to attend and become involved.

3rd District Nurses is very active in supporting local, state and national activities that affect nurses.  As a district of the State association we work with MNA on many issues affecting the profession of nursing and the health of our community. Visit www.mnnurses.org which will bring you to MNA (our state level) website.
