National Nurses Week Celebration

This years NNW banquet was held at Kokomo’s in the Mall of America and was a very colorful and festive occasion. Three awards and 3 scholarships were presented. The Service Award went to Judy Russell-Martin of Children’s Minneapolis, The Raye Kreevoy Gerontological Award went to Fay Doubek of St Anthony Health Center and the Clinical Award went to Kathi Koehn of Abbott Northwestern. The Silent Auction items created very competitive bidding and members brought in nearly $1000.00 for our scholarship funds. We are all grateful for friends and camaraderie within our professional nursing association.
