Have your voice! Plan now to go to Duluth for the MNA Convention
Have your voice about your profession at the MNA Convention on Oct 17-19, 2010 in Duluth MN! Members of MNA are encouraged to apply to be a delegate. This is required to be able to vote at the convention. Click here to be connected to the MNA web site where you can apply to be a delegate.
TIME OFF
Now is the time to make your request for time off to attend the convention. Concerned about getting off work? Your employer may be required to allow you time off of work to attend the convention. Check your contract and be sure to let them know your purpose for the time off.
EXPENSES: COVERED!
Did you know that as a delegate, MNA will reimburse you for expenses incurred from attending the convention? This includes travel, lodging and meal expenses. Please note that MNA policies apply so you might want to verify the reimbursement policy with MNA.
For instance, lodging is covered if you share a room. If you choose a single room, you may have to pay the difference between single and double occupancy. Most meals are provided so there should be minimal meal reimbursement.
