Nurse Practitioner

The College of Saint Benedict , located in central Minnesota , invites applications for a part time position of Nurse Practitioner.  This position may include up to sixteen hours per week during the CSB|SJU academic calendar (Fall and Spring semesters).  The Nurse Practitioner will provide coverage for the full-time nurse practitioner in times of absences such as sick leave or vacation. 

The College of Saint Benedict enrolls approximately 2,000 undergraduate students, placing it among the largest residential, liberal arts colleges for women in the country. In 2009, the College was cited by its peers nationally as one of 13 “up and coming” liberal arts colleges in the country (U.S. News).   

The Nurse Practitioner position is designed to provide primary health care to students from the College of Saint Benedict with acute and/or chronic illness, independently and in collaboration with health services staff and collaborating physician.  The qualified candidate will be certified as a family, women ' s or adult nurse practitioner by an approved certifying organization and a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse practitioner program.  Three years of primary care experience is required.  Experience in providing women ' s health care and experience in college health is preferred.

Current MN registered nursing license, current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license and CPR certification is required.
