An overivew of advanced practice nursing (APRN) and current APRN educational innovations will be described. Information regarding the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) role will be presented. Objectives: At the completion of this conference the participant will be able to: - Describe the importance of DNPs for the advancement of Nursing in Minnesota
- Discuss potential role(s) of Doctor of Nursing Practice graduates within the current health care system.
- Compare 3 Doctors of Nursing Practice programs
