Independent Studies
3rd District Nurses invites you to complete your continuing education online at your convenience. Once you have selected the Independent Studies you wish to take you can read them online or download them, read at your leisure, and log back in to take the post test. Once you are registered with NursesCE you can access your personal report listing the studies you’ve purchased and those successfully completed. If at any time you need a copy of your certificate you will be able to log back in and reprint a copy.
These Independent Studies are designed to be read as a self-study. As part of the learning process there are review questions, learning activities and information boxes available to assist the learner as needed. After reading the Independent Study the participant will complete the post-test with a passing score of 70% or higher, complete an evaluation form, and print a certificate.

Workshops and Conferences
3rd District Nurses offers workshops and conferences throughout the year for nurses and advanced practice registered nurses. These continuing education offerings are ANCC accredited and planned by the Continuing Education Coordinating Committee consisting of our nurse members. Topics are chosen based on suggestions from evaluations of previous programs, current nursing issues and suggestions from the membership. All nurses and other health related professionals are welcome. Members receive a special rate for all 3rd District Nurses continuing education. Continuing education events are not scheduled from June through August.
