2007 Membership Dues Categories

For RN’s not covered by a MNA hospital contract in Anoka, Hennepin, Carver and Scott Counties.

These dues include payment to all three associations; American Nurses Association, Minnesota Nurses Association and Third District Nurses Association.

SEVENTY-FIVE PERCENT (75%) DUES

The Third District portion is $48.75 per year or $4.07 a month.

Members who:
1. ARE NOT COVERED BY A MNA COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT
- Annual payment - $535.26
- Monthly payroll deduction or electronic funds transfer (EFT) - $44.61

FIFTY PERCENT (50%) DUES
Members who:
1. are unemployed
2. are enrolled in Baccalaureate Degree Nursing Programs or Advanced
Nursing Degree Programs more than one-half of the full-time load
defined by the college/university catalog (must file verification form with MNA).
3. are graduates of basic nursing programs for the first year of membership if
initiated within twelve months of graduation.
- Annual payment - $363.60
- Monthly payroll deduction or EFT - $30.30

TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT (25%) DUES
Members who:
1. are fifty-five years of age or older who are not employed.
2. are unable to work due to injury, illness, or disability
(must file verification form with MNA).
- Annual payment - $191.82
- Monthly payroll deduction or EFT - $15.99
