The one-day event includes hands-on experiences and games that help you learn more about what nursing is all about.

Third District Nurses is proud to announce its seventh annual ADVENTURES in NURSING CAREERS - Day Camp on Thursday, August 6th, 2009. This year National American University (NAU) will host the event at the Bloomington campus near the Mall of America. NAU is remodeling their nursing skills lab so they will have the latest state of art equipment. Anyone interested in exploring nursing careers is invited to register. Third District Nurses is pleased to announce a limited number of scholarships to our Adventures in Nursing - career camp. Scholarship applications are due July 1. Please note that a small refundable deposit of $10 is required to prevent no shows. Click here for the application.
 
Registered nurses interested in volunteering at this event for few hours or the whole day are encouraged to contact Laurel Anderson at Third District. About 10-15 nurses are needed to create the day. Please contact Laurel at 952 920 9860 or email her at landerson@nursesCE.org.


When you attend our Adventures in Nursing-Career Camp, you will:

- Explore the variety of nursing career possibilities, great salaries and job security.
- Practice basic nursing techniques using the latest technology.
- Talk with RN’s and ask them questions about being a nurse.
- Learn about nursing school options and what you can do before you start nursing school.
