Be a Delegate to the Minnesota Nurses Association Convention
Because of its large nurse population, the 3rd Geographical Area is allotted approximately 90 delegate seats each year in House of Delegates at the MNA Convention. It is here that MNA hears resolutions and position statements for change and improvement in the state association and the profession. As a 3rd District Delegate, representing your nurse peers, you can directly affect change for your profession.

The Power of Executive Decision-Making
Each year 3rd District Nurses elects various positions to its Board of Directors. This group establishes policy and makes key decisions that affect our 5,000-plus members and the profession of nursing in Minnesota. It is a direct link with our parent association, MNA. Being a member of our board of directors provides yet another avenue for you to impact your life and your career—as well as the career of your peers.
