Each year, 3rd District Nurses recognizes the achievements of its members by awarding scholarships and special awards to its outstanding members.

Awards and Scholarships presented during National Nurses Week
Attend the May Banquet when 3rd District recognizes nurses for their contributions and provides scholarships to nursing students. Make sure your colleagues are recipients by nominating them for the specific award or scholarship they deserve. Listed below are the explanations of each award and scholarship. Awards: Recognizing our members for their contributions
Each year during National Nurses Week, 3rd District Nurses recognizes four members (one in each of four categories) who make a significant contribution to their profession or specialty through the District. Members may nominate candidates who meet the specific requirements for the awards listed below and, if selected by the Awards Committee, the recipient will received their award at our annual banquet held each May during National Nurses Week. Award categories include:
